Peeter Uuskyla and Ove Volquartz met for the first time in Berlin 1988 when rehearsing, performing and recording Cecil Taylor´s composition Legba Crossing with the legendary pianist and composer´s workshop band. The result was a musical collaboration in different projects and in different European countries. At Göttinger Jazzfestival 1999 on 6th of November, this duet of fiery music was performed and composed on the spot by Peeter Uuskyla , drums and Ove Volquartz, soprano saxophone, tenor saxophone, bass clarinet and contra-alto clarinet.
